Yukon Nominee Program 2025: Update on Invitations to Apply
The Government of Yukon has begun issuing invitations to apply for the 2025 Yukon Nominee Program (YNP). Selected employers who submitted an expression of interest (EOI) during the intake period (March 31 to April 22, 2025) will receive email instructions on how to submit a full application.
Employers not selected will either be added to the random selection pool or notified of ineligibility.
Due to high interest—502 eligible EOIs, with 392 aligning with 2025 priorities—nomination spots are limited to 215. Priority is being given to:
* Candidates with a temporary measure letter of support
* Foreign nationals who have lived and worked in Yukon for at least one year
* Yukon University graduates
* Francophone or French-speaking candidates
This selection process prioritizes alignment with Yukon's 2025 labour market goals over a first-come, first-served model. These priorities were shaped in collaboration with industry and the business community to address evolving workforce needs.
